2023 Award Recipients

The Ignatian Volunteer Corps (IVC) provides mature men and women the opportunity to serve the needs of people who are poor, to work for a more just society, and to grow deeper in Christian faith by reflecting and praying in the Ignatian tradition.

“The classrooms and corridors of Our Lady of Tepeyac High School are filled with love and inspiration. I felt it as soon as I entered the building and those feelings exploded during my service.    The men and women from the Ignatian Volunteer Corps who have served at OLT before and after me have been transformed by the experience.  It is our hope that we have been able to contribute to the personal growth of these young women as much as they have contributed to ours.”

Thank you, IVC, for your commitment to young women, social justice and the City of Chicago!
