2026 ¡Creemos! Award Honoree

A Listening Ear, A Leading Voice: Honoring Dr. Citlaly Gonzalez, Psy.D

Our Lady of Tepeyac recognizes Dr. Citlaly Gonzalez, Psy.D. as the 2026 ¡Creemos! Award honoree, recognizing her outstanding contributions to the school community. Dr. Gonzalez’s journey with Tepeyac began through her work as a psychologist, and she quickly became an integral part of the school. Providing mental health services, mentoring students, and serving as an Advisory Board member and Tepeyac Mentor, she has supported the academic, social, and emotional growth of young women in meaningful ways.

Dr. Gonzalez has also helped build programs and accommodations for students with diverse learning needs, ensuring every girl has the tools to succeed. Known for her compassion, guidance, and deep connections with students, she describes Tepeyac as “powerful” and “like a family,” where students are recognized for their ambition and potential. She continues to serve her community outside of Tepeyac as Head of the Autism Diagnostic Clinic at Easterseals, where she leads a team in diagnosing autism and providing resources to patients and their families.

Her dedication, presence, and belief in every student’s capability make her an inspiring model of service and leadership, strengthening the Tepeyac community for years to come.
