Scholarships Available to Freshwomen
The Big Shoulders Fund supports schools to ensure students receive a strong academic foundation, enroll and persist in college, and lead productive lives as adults.
Big Shoulders Fund Scholarships are awarded based on need and at the discretion of the school President.
Catholic elementary school students have the potential to carry over their specific BSF scholarships into high school. Please contact your elementary school principal for assistance.

Canning Foundation
Canning Foundation Scholarships are based on academic merit, demonstrated commitment to service, and family income. Awards are given at the discretion of the school President and prioritize families that send multiple daughters to Our Lady of Tepeyac.

Cuneo Foundation
The Cuneo Foundation Scholarship is based on academic merit, demonstrated commitment to service and social justice as well as family income. Awards are given at the discretion of the school President.
Renewable/$2,400 year

Annual letter written to the Foundation detailing academic success, service performed and family need.
El Milagro, a wholesale food distribution and food services company located in the Little Village community, generously supports Tepeyac scholarships each year. Scholarships are awarded based on family income, academic merit and community involvement. Awards are given at the discretion of the school President. Additional scholarships are available for children of El Milagro employees.

HighSight provides scholarships, tutoring, mentoring, leadership development, and college readiness programs that create new possibilities for Chicago high school students from low-income families. The HighSight experience empowers our scholars to excel in high school and graduate from four-year colleges across the country.

The Madonna Foundation’s mission is to educate young women in the Chicago area in order to transform lives and launch bright futures by providing access to academic excellence at a single-gender Catholic High School. The Foundation educates the whole person by instilling the Franciscan values of Respect, Dedication, Stewardship and Joy through dynamic programing and tuition support.

Our Lady of Tepeyac Academic Scholarships (Must Test at Tepeyac)
$1,500 year/renewable (score in the top 10% on placement test)
Principal’s Award
$1,000 year/renewable (score in the top 20% on placement test)
As the founders of our school, the Sisters of the Resurrection still play a significant role in supporting the faith development and well being of our students. Awards go to those who score in the top 30% on the placement test
$750 year/ Renewable
