Joni Thompson College Scholarship

The Joni Thompson College Scholarship honors Joni Thompson, in recognition of her 34 years of dedicated service and transformative leadership at Our Lady of Tepeyac High School.

This scholarship celebrates Joni’s deep commitment to Tepeyac students and her belief in the power of education to change lives. It is awarded to graduating seniors who have made meaningful contributions to the Tepeyac community and who are committed to continuing their education after high school.

The Joni Thompson College Scholarship supports college tuition costs for graduating seniors. Joni played a key role in founding Tepeyac’s College Readiness Program in 2008 and has been a strong advocate for college access and persistence ever since. This scholarship continues her legacy by helping students pursue and complete a college education.

 

 

Scholarship Details & Requirements

  • Renewable for up to four years

  • Recipient must maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA

  • Student must submit a semester college report card to Our Lady of Tepeyac High School each term

  • Recipient will meet  with Joni Thompson twice per year:

    • December/January

    • May/June
