Dean of Students | Our Lady of Tepeyac High School

Job Summary:

The Dean of Students fosters a supportive and disciplined environment aligned with the school’s all-girls Catholic mission. As part of the Academic Administrative Leadership Team, the Dean collaborates with students, families, and faculty to promote academic success, leadership, faith and  personal growth. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership for fostering a student-led environment where young women take an active role in their learning and leadership, while emphasizing the unique advantages of an all-girls Catholic education.
  • Maintain a safe, respectful learning environment rooted in faith-based and restorative principles.
  • Support student behavior, attendance, and social emotional well being.
  • Provide faculty professional development on social-emotional learning, faith formation, and best practices in all-girls education.
  • Oversee tutoring and summer school programs to enhance academic growth.
  • Teach two classes within your discipline.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in education, counseling, or administration.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and student support skills.
  • Experience with behavior management and restorative practices.
  • Spanish proficiency preferred but not required.
