Where
is the school located, and how can I get there?
Tepeyac is located in Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood, at the corner of Cermak (2200 South) and Whipple (3000 West) at 2228 S. Whipple.
We are easily accessible from the Blue and Pink line trains and many CTA buses.
What
is OLT’s enrollment and average class size?
There are 200 young women in the school. On average, classes are
17 students each, making it easy for you to get to know your teachers
and classmates, ask questions, and get the support you need.
Do
the students wear uniforms?
Yes! The girls wear skirts and white shirts in the fall and spring, and may wear school sweatshirts and sweatpants in the winter. They wear white sneakers year-round. We do have out of uniform days during Sprit Week, holidays, and other special events and celebrations.
What
is the school mascot and what are the school colors?
We are the Tepeyac Tigers, and our colors are royal blue and white.
How much is tuition?
Tuition for the 2007-2008 school year is $4,500 per student, and is paid monthly from August to May.
Is Financial Aid available?
Yes. We offer assistance to any student or family based on need and income levels.
How do I become a student at Our Lady of Tepeyac?
We recommend that all prospective students come to one of our Shadow Days, and bring their parents to an Open House. Visiting Tepeyac will give you the opportunity to meet our teachers and students, and learn more about the curriculum, student activities, and spirit of the school. Next, you will need to take our placement exam on Saturday, January 12 at 8am. (Testers are eligible for a $1,000 academic scholarship; students must take the exam to be considered for admission.) Upon acceptance, you will need to register in order to hold your place for fall classes.
