Admissions
Information
Our students
come from about 50 public and Catholic grade schools from all over
the city of Chicago. We invite all interested 8th grade girls to
visit the school and take the entrance exam in January.
How
to become a Tepeyac student in 3 easy steps:
1.
COME FOR A SHADOW DAY.
October 12 and November 9 (9am-2pm)
You will spend the day as our guest, following a Tepeyac student
through her daily schedule. You will attend classes, meet teachers,
and see the school in action! Shadow days are open to all interested
7th and 8th grade students. You may come on any of our scheduled
shadow days, or make an individual appointment. To schedule a visit,
please call Jackie at (773) 522-0023 x206. Lunch will be provided,
and parent permission is required. (Download permission slip)
2.
BRING YOUR PARENTS TO AN OPEN HOUSE.
October 22 and November 19 (7-9pm)
Open houses are an opportunity for girls and their families to tour
the school, meet with teachers and students, and learn more about
our academic program and extracurricular activities we offer. It
is a good chance to ask questions and get all the important information
you need to know about Tepeyac.
3.
TAKE OUR PLACEMENT EXAM.
January 9 (8am)
When you take the placement exam with us on January 9, 2010, you
are eligible for a $1,000 educational award. You must bring a calculator,
two No. 2 pencils, and allow 5 hours to take the exam. Lunch will
be provided, and there is a $25 testing fee. Students must take
the placement exam to be considered for admission. Acceptance letters
are sent in Februrary.
If you have
any questions, or would like more information on admissions at Tepeyac,
please call Jackie at (773) 522-0023 x206.
